John Lincoln is the crime writing alter-ego of Laugharne Weekend roadie John Williams. His first crime novel, Fade To Grey came out earlier this year and got some nice reviews.,It;s the first in a series set in Cardiff and featuring a motley bunch called Last Resort Legals who  investigate miscarriages of justice in return for money. The Financial Times reckoned that 'Lincoln has created a quirkily conflicted protagonist and a narrative that keeps tension and incident satisfyingly to the fore, with Cardiff as darkly minatory a city as Rankin's Edinburgh'.
